In April 2014, Paul Jacobs started Quoddy Builders in Oakland, Maine. Paul approached Maine PTAC in December of 2018 and transitioned to Four Directions Development Corporation, seeking assistance with doing business with Federal Government Contracts.
Maine PTAC and FDDC helped him navigate some of the common obstacles with obtaining government contracts. Since then, Quoddy Builders has been awarded $481,362 since working with Maine PTAC and Four Directions Development Corporation.
Paul is a great success story from the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Pleasant Point. His success at Quoddy Builders is a true example of how Native American Small businesses can take advantage of government contracts.
